Evening Nipper Community!
As per my season welcome email, I am really excited to say we have had a number of parents put up their hand to assist the club this year but we are still on the lookout for more!
There are many roles that parents can play through the season, some that we can provide training for and other that need no training at all. The biggest benefit to all however is that by putting up your hand to help you are essentially ensuring the safety of your children and the community they will serve through creating our future lifesavers! This is a great incentive to get involved and have some fun along the way. I promise that we will not push anyone into a role that they are not willing or comfortable to do and where required we can even support you with training and material to ensure success in your role, and above all I personally commit to supporting every parent into any role they take on.
To ensure our season runs as professionally and as smoothly as possible for the upcoming season I am running a Parent Planning Session on Sunday the 11th of September starting at 10am and I would absolutely love to have as many parents there as possible! During this session I will run through some of the key roles we require to fill for the year, how parents can help and support and we will also be doing a little planning around our sessions for the year.
If I could also ask all of last years helpers to please turn up or at least let me know if they cannot attend so I can allocate roles and back brief you post the session.
We will be holding this session at our clubhouse at Malua Bay so please do come along and find our more about this season and how you can lend a hand. I will send out a meeting invite shortly after this email.
