Evening All,

Firstly thanks for everyone who turned up this weekend what a great way to start 2022 and to see so many on the beach was fantastic.

I know we have had a few new starters today so thought I would drop everyone a quick email with some key information.

First of all please join our Team App – now called Stack Team App – once downloaded, look for Batemans Bay SLSC Nippers and click join – I will approve and will communicate through the app regularly as we go into this season and next!

For those of you that picked up a rash vest and / or cap please make a transfer to the club on the details below:

For those new members that also haven’t finalised their membership payment please use the details above to make payment – this is really important for insurance purposes – 1 nipper $35, 2 Nippers $60, 3+ nippers $75. Once you have made a payment please drop the transfer slip / screenshot to me on this email and I can finalise your membership. Thank you to all those that have done this already, I am please to say we now have 78 full registered nippers which is unbelievable!

We are doing a lot of fundraising at the moment – most of the links to our pages are below, would be grateful to everyone that shares across their networks. This will assist with our purchase of new equipment for next year so please get involved and spread the word. We are also still taking sponsors, we have Abode, Clyde Motor Group, MacDonalds and South Coast Property Specialist all confirmed which is incredible but we are still looking for a few more, if you know of any that may want to sponsor the program please feel free to pass on my details :-).

We have been very fortunate to get some parents step up and take on some roles in the program – thanks to all that have come forward and we will start to formalise this a bit more as the season concludes in readiness for next season – we will have formal age managers and roles as I stand up a nipper sub-committee, if anyone else is keen to get involved please reach out!

As a head up for next week, we will be joined on the beach by the new Swim Coach and Head of Swimming at the new Batemans Bay Pool. I have been liaising with them to come down and meet the nippers with a view that we can get as many of you into their swim program going forward (if you wish to do so). Swimming as you know is an imperative part of what we do and I am keen to improve everyone’s ability in this are both in the pool and in the ocean.
